S&L is a family owned and operated business proudly serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York State for over 40 years.
Howard “Butch” Shoemaker started his auto repair and used auto parts business in the early 1960’s. The used parts business
grew into one of the biggest late model auto recycling centers in New Jersey. Utilizing heavy equipment in the recycling business,
Butch recognized the advantages equipment rentals would offer to local contractors. This started the swing into the rental
business, which now has grown into a full service dealership.
With the auto recycling and used parts going the way of the dinosaur due to ever increasing state regulations, the focus was on new auto parts
and equipment sales and rentals. We are now a full service dealership featuring new and used equipment sales and rentals and parts department
with a full service on site and mobile service department. The “used” auto parts have now evolved into a “new” auto parts and tire department
featuring full auto service bays and delivery fleet.
